Get to know Jacqueline
Hi! I’m Jacqueline Salomé, a freelance writer and communications specialist dedicated to collective liberation.
I work with non-profits, social impact organizations and public agencies working toward just, equitable and healthy futures.
As a multi-passionate person who can’t unsee the intersections between all liberation movements, my focus areas tend to be diverse and wide-ranging. It’s all connected.
My published work covers anything from arts + culture, outdoor adventure, travel, health + wellness, news and consumer insights, amplifying the voices that are most often overlooked and unheard in traditional media.
My areas of focus include: gender justice, Indigenous rights, environmentalism and biodiversity protection, health equity, democratic empowerment, systems-change, equitable public policy and supporting local community programs doing great work for all kinds of folks facing barriers.
Clients have included Women Transforming Cities, the Indigenous Engagement Institute, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Institute of Gender and Health and many small community organizations and non-profits across British Columbia.
With gratitude, I acknowledge my privilege to live and write from the traditional, unceded and ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations in Vancouver, Canada and am committed to walking these lands in good relations.
